TGH stewards are here most days from 8am to 7pm (though sometimes they're hard to find as they're in the video workshop, the woods, the carding mill, the workshop or catering kitchen across the street). Beginning in January 2008, there will be a steward or two in the library every thursday from 4-6pm.  Sometimes the house is closed to the general public in order to host local civic groups who've reserved it for their meetings or classes. The walking / skiing  trails are open from dawn to dusk (we ask that visitors sign in and out).  If you want to be sure the house will be open and/or that you'll be able to reach a steward, call or email a day or two ahead of time so we can be sure to meet you and give you the tour.  Once we hire staff stewards we will keep regular business hours and they will be posted here.
 
TGH is a chem-free, pet free environment.  Please leave your pets at home.
 
HOW TO FIND US:
 
FROM THE NORTH  (I-95)
 
take the carmel exit (route 69)
turn left on 69 and head towards 202/9
turn right on 202/9 and proceed through Dixmont to Troy.
once you cross the Troy town line, you will pass the Barker road on the right,
then the last chance ranch on the right
then the Troy Union Church on the left
just after the church there is an intersection with Bagley Hill Rd. at left and Ward Hill Rd. at right.
take a right onto the Ward Hill Rd.
TGH is nearlly a mile down the road on your right and clearly marked with signs

FROM THE SOUTH (UNITY)
 
follow 202/9 from Unity into Troy
pass Troy General store on your left, then Troy Elementary, then the BB Cook clubhouse. 
after passing the clubhouse, you will climg a hill with an intersection at the top
with Bagley Hill Rd. at right and Ward Hill Rd. at left
take a left onto the Ward Hill Rd.
